Markese W. Bryant, Co-Founder & Managing Partner
Markese W. Bryant is a 2012 Echoing Green Black Male Achievement Fellow. In 2010, Markese was selected as a winner in a nationwide business plan competition called “Energy, Economy and Innovation” at Morehouse College. After graduation, Markese joined the Green For All to build and manage the College Ambassador Program, which focused on fostering young, green-economy champions at fifteen Historical Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs). Through this program, Markese played an integral role in organizing the largest delegation of African American college students to attend any Power Shift conference to date. Markese also partnered with Green For All to release a music video entitled “The Dream Reborn”, which garnered over 32,000 views on youtube.com and won 2nd place in the Environmental Protection Agency nationwide video contest.
Markese Bryant is a graduate of Morehouse College with a Bachelor of Arts in African American Studies.
John C. Jordan Jr., Co-Founder & Managing Partner
John C. Jordan, Jr is a 2012 Echoing Green Black Male Achievement Fellow. John is currently part of the Morehouse Wide Initiative for Sustainable Energy, which manages a $5M grant Morehouse received from the National Science Foundation to infuse sustainability throughout the curriculum and extra-curricular experience. Under the grant, John is responsible for managing student engagement across Morehouse College, Spelman College and Clark Atlanta University.
John Jordan is a graduate of Morehouse College with Bachelor of Arts in Business Finance and a minor in Leadership Studies and Economics.
Janee Wilson-Key, Vice President
Janee Wilson-Key is a dynamic professional with a wealth of experience across several industries. Most recently, Janee served as Financial Services Manager for Habitat for Humanity International. In this role she managed the Flexible Capital Access Program – an affiliate loan program funded by over $40 million dollars in investor notes. Janee joined Habitat after serving as a Teach for America Corp member for two years. Prior to that experience she was an Investment Banking Analyst within JP Morgan’s Syndicated and Leveraged Finance Group. Additionally, in 2008, Janee led the development of a Smoothie King franchise in Peachtree City, Georgia. Through her career experiences, Janee has grown to understand the importance of enterprise in shaping communities.
Janee graduated Magna Cum Laude from Tuskegee University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and Economics. She is currently pursuing a Masters in Business Administration at Harvard Business School where she is a Bert King Fellow and on the winning team of the business school’s first-ever FIELD 3 ventures competition.
Markeze Bryant, Business Strategist
Markeze Bryant is an investor in small businesses. He started his career on Wall Street advising clients on mergers and acquisitions. Shortly after, Markeze followed his gut and decided that he was more interested in discovering what made small businesses successful. He then joined ICV Partners, a middle-market private equity firm in New York, where he helped lead the purchase of four small businesses in various industries. Today Markeze is an MBA Student at the Wharton School. He is focused on further developing his ability to highlight talented management teams and support high-growth businesses in sectors that have a social impact. Markeze will spend his summer working at a growth equity firm focused on investing in healthy consumer products.
